no i've never heard of a dwarf black snakehead only channa melasoma and c.melanopterus and these get to about 14" + 24" respectively

that fish in the huge pics is a pleuro..have 3 of em...

this fish look's like a channa pleurothalma hardly a dwarf at 18" but gorgeous aswell!

they look like they have been painted with mettallic paint! absolutely gorgeous in green and blue,there's prob some pics on here somewhere
