Hi,

Thanks for the help. I am new to this forum. My questions is this:

I currently have 3 female Microgeophagus Ramirez (German Blue Ram) and my wife has fell in love with a male/female pair of Pelvicachromis Taeniatus at the LFS. I have to say they are very pretty but I need to make sure they will not harm my Rams. There is planty of hiding places and the tank houses mostly bottom/mid-level occupants,,,

Stats:
Gallons: 46
PH: 7.4
FH: 80
Ammonia: 0 PPM
Nitrites: 0 PPM
Nitrates: 20 PPM
Filtration: Eiheim canister & Magnum polisher.

Thoughts? I really appreciate your quality opinions!

you could try, but the pelvicachromis might be too aggressive, especially when spawning, why not set up a 20 long for a pair

Iffy ... the taeniatus will get twice the size and girth of the rams. I've kept Pelvachromis with a pair of Anomalochromis thomasi in a 36"x15" before. But while the thomasi get about the same size as the blue rams, they are quite a bit fiestier.

Thanks to you both. I kind of thought that as well but was hoping someone may have kept them with different results. I have a extra 20G but it's my favorite QT. I have to tell the misses we'll pass.
