The Pacific Coast Cichlid Association is proud to announce our own past The PCCA President, a Conservation & Grants Chair, and a PCCA life-time member, Mr. Chuck Rambo as our speaker on Nov 08, 2008.

Mr. Chuck Rambo is a long-time member of the American Cichlid Association, ACA's speaker program chair. In the summer of 2000, Mr. Chuck Rambo, Conservation Chair of the American Cichlid Association, announced the establishment of the Paul V. Loiselle Conservation Fund for the conservation of rare and endangered cichlid species.

In addition, Mr. Chuck Rambo was made a Fellow of the ACA for his work. Mr. Chuck Rambo has been involved with the captive maintenance of endangered Lake Victorian Cichlids for over a decade, and has talked about their decline at the hands of the introduced Nile Perch and strategies for their captive breeding and maintenance by dedicated hobbyists to aquarium clubs all over the country. Due to massive collections from African exporters, several cichlid species from Lake Malawi and Lake Tanganyika have become extinct in their natural habitats. Mr. Chuck Rambo also is one of pioneers for Lake Malawi and Lake Tanganyika endangered species project.

With his speech, "Dwarf Cichlids," he will keep us update with Dwarf Cichlids in their natural habitat. Please join us on Nov 8, 2008, at 4400 StevensCreek Blvd, San Jose, CA 95129. For more information, please check out the PCCA web site at WWW.CICHLIDWORLD.COM :mwave:
