Dwarf cichlids v/s bigger badder cichilds

Hi, are the dwarf cichlids like rams , apistogrammes are as aggressive as the bigger cichlids like oscars,firemouth.

In my experience they are more peaceful. I have had appistogramma, they were very peaceful, as are lateacara. I did have anomalachromis thomasi a d they were little terrors, so it depends on the species
