Hey~

I have aquired a group of 5 Dwarf Cren Comps thru Peter Durkin (Thank you Sam Borstein!) and These guys have done little to no eating since I have gotten them, They are in a 20L (For Now - They are getting their own 55 Like the regani) with a group of Lil Tiger Barbs (5) and Green TB's (3), as well as 3 YoYo Loaches......To Much Action? Should I move the Barbs? I have offered the Following Foods:

Freeze Dried Krill
Frozen Krill
Frozen Mysis
Frozen Bloodworms

The only thing they have shown any interest in has been the Mysis, and compared to my regani (Monsters!) who eat everything I have listed (In a 55 with 4 SD's and 2 Tiger Botia's) Not only do the Regani eat it as soon as it his water, there is a frenzy, as opposed to my Comps, who barely move for food at all.

HELP!

I have had them since saturday.........

My Xingu's took a week before they looked like they would "make" it in my tank. They are just stressed. What was in the tank with them at the lfs?

They came from a breeder in Michigan, and spent overnight in a 10......In the breeders tank they were alone except for a pleco......

I have wild ones in stock, they usually eat frozen food within a day or two and within a few weeks pellets and flakes. The ones I ahve now have been here a few months and they stay right at the front of the tank all the time, it's feeding frenzy when I throw food in. If they are resent imports they may be infected with internal paracites. Ken

any luck Nuth....just keep the temps constant and try to let the Comps settle in....Feed live blood worms if they don't start eating within 4 days. What temp you have them at right now?

I have them at 82, they have begun to take frozen, as I have been so consumed with my Dovii project I just dayum forgot, just feed them and they have just taken Mysis and Bloodworms today......I am keeping my fingers crossed, as I added many more hiding spots and that has helped them as well....
