I know how bad most MFKers are at growing plants, so I grew some for you!

Seriously though, I'm breaking down my planted tank (focusing on cichlids now) and have a lot of very nice carpeted dwarf hair grass that could be used in another tank. This stuff doesn't carpet fast and it took me a couple months with high lighting and pressurized co2 to get it where it's at.

You can transplant the whole carpet in to your tank to give it that instant "planted" look, without the months of waiting it takes a carpet to fill in (IF it fills in).

This pic is from a couple months ago:

Obviously it has filled in more, and that footprint is 48" x 12" so there's a lot of it. I can give you a pretty decent sized section for a couple bucks or just trade me something you have laying around. I'd consider just about anything, even just some nice medium sized rocks (like what you would find at a river, nothing fancy).

One more thing: THIS NEEDS TO BE BLEACH DIPPED. If you don't bleach dip it, and you get algae in your tank from it, you were warned. There is no algae on the grass itself but a couple different types would occasionally grow on the wood in the tank, so it's in the water.

Looks really nice, if I ever decide to break down my 75 and go planted I would be all over it.

I've seen it in person. It looks nice and a great starter for someone doing a iwagumi aquascape.
