I asked about this over on plantgeek and got a couple ideas but I wanted to see if there were any other methods for this. I bought a potted bunch of dwarf hairgrass at petsmart and right now its still in the pot with the wool on the roots in my 29 gallon. I'm I correct in thinking the wool doesnt need to stay in the tank? How would I go about getting it to stay in the sand long enough to root? Are Jiffy pots safe to use in a tank or would they rot or lower my pH too much? Someone suggested using the top of a plastic drink bottle but the description wasn't very clear. Any suggestions would be great, thanks in advance.
