does anyone have any experience with these? ive never owned a reptile before and i got one of these yesturday. i tried searching for info but the search feature doesnt like me:irked: :banhim: :irked:. i just need general info, if you guys want pics ill try to get some up.

why did you buy one if you don't know how to take care of it? thats just not smart. do a quick google search and you will find all of the info you need. and buy a book about them

Because the people at That Fish Place told me everything I needed to get, they just left out how many crickets, what type of stuff i should put in his tank/terrarium thing, etc.. I just wanted to know what people have kept them before and what they thought about them. and who knows? maybe there is something totally out of the blue that noone would have known about them except through experience.

and dont act like youve never had an impulse buy before.

EDIT: hahahaha he just fell asleep on a branch of my moms house plant right next to me.

They need lots of cover, keep them humid.... they eat smaller prey items 1/4 inch crickets and they do fairly well in fish tanks unlike other cham species.

thanks varanio

provide it with lots of cover, and get the smallest crickets that you can find, feed the crickets stuff like apple bits fora day or so before you feed them to him
good luck;)

I do believe they also eat Fruit flies.
You can set them up in a 10 gal heavily planted with plety of places to climb. They can handle all glass whwre other chams can not

Is it also true that these chameleons can be housed in groups? I thought i remember reading that somewhere.
