Hi,

When can you pull the plant away from the bulb? And how many plants can grow from 1 bulb. I have 1 plant already with roots and a stem and 4 leaves, looks like roots and a little stem are growing on another part of the bulb. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

I have one bulb that has been throwing off plantlets for close to a year now. usually has 3-4 at time.

Thing is I can't get any of the plants to grow bigger than half dollar size before the leaf stems melt away.

Hmm. I clipped off one of the plants, it had about 3-4 big leaves and alot of roots. So that is planted now. I have another bulb with 2 plants growing in and they do have some roots, but I feel not enough yet to cut it away from the bulb yet. The other bulb where I already clipped 1 plant from, has another plant growing in, I see a little sprout coming out.

Pretty cool, but I only need like 2 plants. So I may just give the rest away. I'll see how it goes. The plant I clipped off a few days ago seems to be doing ok. Are yours the red or green variety? Mine are the reddish ones.
