Dwarf lionfish foray

I have experience running marine tanks, work related, but have currently a 29 gal tank which was a general fw community and angelfish grow out. Unfortunately I've ended up with 3 proven pairs. So am raising the last batch of eggs and then stripping the tank. I have been tempted by Fowlr with a dwarf lionfish. Can I go live rock power head and skimmer only or is an extra filter recommended as I have always found them nitrate factories. I have attached a picture of the current occupants

I would attempt it but keep an eye on water parameters and clean up whatever he doesn't eat

Gonna be a while yet just pulled the angelfish eggs as they were starting to fungus dad wasn't cleaning them properly
