I went to buy Brazilian Pennywort for my first planted tank. Upon getting home and seeing the card in the planter, it says dwarf Pennywort. From what I'm seeing online researching the Dwarf one, it requires more light as it's more a substrate carpet plant, is this correct? Can it be grown as a floater plant like the Brazilian Pennywort? I'm kinda not happy with them selling me the dwarf one, especially if it cannot do what the other can, as I intended it as a surface plant with long floating roots, under low light.

Does anyone have experience with the Dwarf Pennywort and know if I should just return it?

I went back and returned it. In return for the same price, I got 4 bunches of Brazilian Pennywort @$2 a piece. I've got 4x the plant now that I got the right plant. The guy sells me the Dwarf one when I never asked for anything Dwarf. I said it was used a lot as a floater, not planted. He kinda smirked at me returning it and figuring out the mix-up. I wanted to say something but decided to keep my mouth shut in case I need anything from there again. The guy even tried telling me the Dwarf one was Brazilian, too, and not Asian as I read online. He told me, "all Pennyworts are S. American, low-light and can be floated or planted in substrate", is this true?
