I have been filtering my crenicichla notos tank with oak leaves for months trying to get tanins in and lower ph. Still don't think its low enough but one female is finally 'pregers'. I was told by their former owner that they bred in cool water for him so I've been keeping tank around 72. But I always raise temp when breeding. Aside from water changes to encourage her, should I change temp and maybe feed live foods if I can find some?
