I was gonna setup a heavily planted 55g tank and plecos have always been an interest to me. I was wondering 2-3 species of groups of 4 of plecs I could setup in here? I was looking into leapord frog plecos (I think L-134?) and clown plecos ( I'm not sure on the L number) and maybe one more? Could these work together? And is there another species that could work in there or something? Leapord frogs are the ones that I want so what are two more species can I mix in?

try getting either 2 pairs or a trio of leopard frogs (L134), a trio of clowns, and if you can find them, 1 pair or trio of tiger plecos (L002). and add some small tetras (purple emperors would look nice) as dither fish.

all three of the species i mentioned benefit from having bogwood in the tank, and clown plecos need it in the tank cause its part of their diet. all of them will happily live on algae wafers and veggies.

some will ruin your plants do do your research before making a decision
