I have 1 little dwarf puffer in a 10g tank. I am wondering if she is lonely. What do you guys think? should i get a tank mate or let her be alone in there? and if so what tank mate would be good. it's only a 10g and i am probably not gonna upgrade this one.

Thanks in advance :)

no theyre too aggressive. if you had a 55g tank you could get two, but if you have a 55g tank for dwarf puffers youre crazy
:)

yeah, put some cover in there and you should be good.

It's very heavily planted in the 10g. And lots of hiding places. I was just thinking maybe she was lonely.

it would be a risk... it might work... or she may have already claimed the whole tank as "hers"..

You could get two more...that way theres a more complex hierarchy...or just put some bumblebee gobies in there!

bumblebee gobies thats a good idea thanks!

yeah she might have claimed it already, hehe. I was just thinking maybe she was lonely. thanks guys!
