Dwarf puffer colony?

Hey there, i was actually thinking about starting up a dwarf puffer colony, and was wondering if a 20 gallon tank would be sufficient to hold them? if so how many.... and what type of environment do they prefer? thanks

Hmmm, I haven't done dwarf puffers, but fom what I've read that would be much too small for a whole colony.

yea i have heard of puffers having their own 110g to themselves, if you could get a larer tank then maybe you could keep them

3-5g/puffer, 3 females to every male.

i had a 10g with 3 dwarf puffers and they were fine.
never fought.

Maybe they were 3 females--males will fight to the death.

in a 20 gallon petsmart will tell you around 20 but for good advice try 5-6 try not to get two males unless they have a very dense plant set up with alot of places to block the line of sight and plenty of females

You certainly cannot look at how petshop tanks are stocked. Those are holding tanks only.
