Dwarf Puffer info/experience

Hey guys, I'm thinking about having a dwarf puffer in my nano 5 gallon. I know, kinda funny that I'm asking about nano tank things on Monster Fish Keepers but whatever :P

I'm guessing that C. travancoricus is the most common dwarf puffer out there so I'll focus my attentions on that one. I'd love to have a look at any useful links or if any of you have had one of these and can offer advise/share your experience.
 
would there be any possible tank mates, I was considering doing a single dwarf puffer and some dwarf cories, or would this be a bad idea?
You know though, I do have a planted 10 gallon and a small part of me was wondering how a dwarf puffer would do, but the thing is I already have some tetras and guppies so I wouldn't want to add something incompatible.
 
Tankmates is really not a good idea as they are VERY territoriality. If you want to do teo in a ten gallon, make sure one female and one male. Two males will fight till one is deal.
 
^ i think you meant 1 Male and 2 Females...

If you have just 1M and 1F, the male may chase the female to death trying to mate with her, so its often a good idea to have a second female just to ease the aggression from the male a little...
 
hrmmm, I think I'll save the dwarf puffers for when I have a free 10 gallon then. I'll do something more peaceful for my 5 gallon (or just a single betta...only because if I've gotta have only 1 fish I can find a betta more easily and a betta is more sizable)
 
I keep a baby bristle nose with my DP in my 10gal planted.

I had 4 in a 29 gal and they never fought. I have no idea what sex they were though, 1 was kind of slender and the other 3 were a little more rounded.

The tank took a dump when I was out of town :(
