I didn't get any dp's yet, but will these water parameters be good for them

Nitrate-30ppm
nitrite-0ppm
hardness-120ppm
alkalinity-150ppm
pH-7.6
ammonia-slightly above 0

What do you guys think about these for about 5 dp's in a 20g long?

Sounds fine. I would keep 4 in a 20g long though. Don't be fooled by their size.

Fella is right, do not be fooled by their size.
But you can keep 5 in a 20 for sure, even 6 if you feel comfortable.

Just make sure that the tank has many obstacles to distract vision of each other.
Tall plants with broad leaves work great.

ya it has alot of plants and a few rocks and some caves in it, with a few pieces or driftwood, so it should be fine. I'll post some pics when I get home, right now I'm at school.

Just noticed the "ammonia slightly above zero". I definitely would not add puffers to any tank containing any ammonia at all!

Ah likewise, to be honest i paid no attention to your stats, just replied to Fella's initial response.
Ammonia needs to be 0, and remain at 0.

Is the tank cycling at the moment? I presume it is not finished cycling yet...

no it's not cycling, but one of my crabs that i had in there disapeared, and I just found it, sadly deseased, so I think that that's the rise in the ammonia.

probably because of the fact that they need brackish water and land area.

as for the DPs....

yeah, a 20G will accomidate 5-6 of them. make sure it's 1 male and a bunch of females, the males are very aggressive to each other.

ya i set up a seperate tank for the crabs, but i figured that the one that died got out, because i couldn't kind him anywhere, so i didn;t worry about it.
