Ok so I just found out about dwarf puffers and I have some questions

1: are they 100% fresh water?
2: what is the minimum size tank they need
3: what do they eat
4: how often do they need their teeth trimmed
5: where can I get them
Thanks

1: yes
2: about 5 gallons per puffer
3: snails, for one
4: that would be some crazy microscopic surgery! No, dwarf puffers don't need their teeth trimmed
5: I've seen some at petco, and other lfs from time to time. Not exactly common though. There are some on aquabid usually.

Also you can feed them blood worms and black worms as well...

I keep 5 pea puffers in a tank smaller than that and they're happy that way. They get along well. I feed them blood worms, and occasionally mysis shrimp. I'm about to learn to raise black worms, since the lfs that sold them went out of business.
I tossed a few snails in with them, too.

Thank you where did you get your puffers and what filter should I use for a small tank

I have a single male in a 10g who kills any other DP I put with him. Be sure to ratio them 1 male/2-3 females or all females. Even the females can get scrappy towards each other, so keep the stocking levels to 5g ea. Lots of decor for territories, with broken lines of sight.

Where do you get yours from
