Dwarf puffer tank Fluval 360

I have a Fluval 360 spare tank, that I was considering using for a single pea puffer; comes to 2.5 gallons with filter and heater.

Do you guys see a problem with this tank? I could at a push shed some cash and get a 5 gallon

2.5 is really small, even if it is just for one puffer...personallyi would go for the 5 gallonand add some plants in there and maybe a few cherry red shrimp to liven everything up...

2.5 would be fine you could fit 3 pea puffers in a 5. These things will only get the size if a penny lol, but if you are gonna do planted go for a 5-10 gallon.

Not sure about that... 3 in a 5G is just asking for agression issues among other things... Puffers tend to be quite intelligent and do enjoy a nice bit of aquascaping to help keep them entertained...

What water change schedule would I be looking at, 2.65g tank size to be exact.

I stick by my word and advise the going with the 5G...

As for water changes, 20-30% a week should be enough depending on how much you feed and filtration...
