dwarf sturgeon info

I found a local LFS that had dwarf sturgeon for sale. They were around 30 bucks. Does anyone have keep them or know if they are compatible with fronts? Also they were in a gold fish tank, the guy said they will be cool in a tropical tank. What do you guys think?

hmmm i thought they were endangered fish? i know about big sturgeon because i'm getting one for my pond...and they are pond/cold water fish.

they are coldwater fish, and get huge, definitely won't go with fronts, but if you have a large system with a chiller then by all means go for it, they are impressive fish
