A mated pair of regani could work, but it takes a much larger tank to get them to pair successfully. They don't do well with forced pairings either. Ie throwing any male and female together like you do with convicts. The best idea would be to get a group of regani and throw them in a larger tank and let them pair naturally.
Many people have bred regani and compressiceps in 20 longs (same length and width as a 29) but most have paired them in the larger tanks first.

i see i see well i could if i cam across some regani at my lfs i could throw the sveni in the 29 while i let them pair off in the 55 then swap em i guess if it came down to it or if the regani are close to full grown i could throw them in the 55 for a few weeks n lettem pair cuz my sveni isnt that big like 3 inch at max so.... idk ill figure it out ty tho i just wasnt sure if i could
