DYEING EEL

this is a second thread about my sick eel i didn't know where more people would see it but it was fine it was hanging out by my heater but wasn't to close then it turned wight and started to kind of curl and is breathing hard i'll post pics if its not to late

is there anything in the tank that is chasing him?

any hiding places?
how big is the eel

it WAS 8'' nothing chasing it every one got along fine i'm not sure what happened but it went belly up and turned wight and died it got some of its normal color back when it died but the tail is still wight it kind of looks like the work of a pleco but im not sure
