Has anyone ever dyed their ghost shrimp so that your fish could see them better and make it easier for them to eat them?

I was thinking about getting a large group of them and dyeing them using food coloring possibly.

Any thoughts?

dying them would make it way too easy. atleast now, they have some fun and stimulation by having to catch or creep up on the shrimp, which we know are quite fast little buggers.

let these guys have a bit of fun. no reason to make getting the live foods any easier for them..

I agree, live food is supposed to stimulate them, making them easy to find would be just like chucking a handful of pellets in.

I think it would be kind of fun around Easter though. I mean we eat food coloring dyed eggs, why not give our fishies a little colored fun as well?!

The point of dyeing them will mostly be so I can see them eat. . . .haha

who eats dyed eggs? I dont, I know that for sure...

I would recommend 1 of 2 things, 1) either get bigger ghost shrimp or 2) get glasses :D
