I have built my own glass tank, but I am thinking about going with acrylic for my next bigger tank. Have a few questions for those of you who have built their own out of acrylic. The tank I want to build is 10'x4'x2', Ill probably build something like 6'x2'x1' to practice first.
How diffiuclt is it to form a good seal with the acrylic? Have you had any problems with tank failure? How big is the tank you built? Would 1/2" acrylic be thick enough for this tank?
