Dying Discus

Hey all! Ive never had any of my discus die or now that I think of it, see a discus dying. Im just wondering, are they one of those fish that just die without warning or are there symptoms to a sick, dying discus? Any help is appreciated!

if you slack on your water changes they will get sick, and is very hard to nurse them back to health.
i have 20 discus in a 220g tank and i do 40% wc avery 4 to 5 days
must discus breeders, keepers call that unaceptable but thats how i do mine and they are very healthy, but i only feed 3 times a day.

thanks, im fully aware of how to keep discus, and fish in that manor. Ive been keeping some pretty delicate fish including discus and rays for many years without a problem. Im just wondering what are some common signs of ill discus. Thanks.
