over the last 5 weeks i have lost 4 gourami. first was two blue dwarf gourami about 4 days after i bought them, then 2 weeks ago lost a red honey gourami who i had had for 5 weeks. i bought another to replace him, and then 3 days ago the second of the original pair of red honey gourami died. i still have the replacement one who is perfectly happy. i test my water every week, and apart from a small ammonia spike last week (friend was looking after and hadnt vac'd the food debris) water has been perfect the whole time. it cant be water issues as the other fish are perfectly fine (mollies, cory's, plec, silvertip tetras). also lost 2 fish from my other tank, 1 albino cory 2 days after i bought him (lady is petstore said he was sickly but i wanted the pair) other one is fine, and a neon tetra that was a lone one that came from my friend (i bought 5 neons, but he died 3 days after i got them) water params are currently perfect on both tanks.
