So last week my jags had babies, now the mom is dying shes hasnt eaten in a week and all my babies got sucked up anyway to save mom? Ive tried every food, water chem is fine

she's as good as dead. the pregnancy killed her, its natural sometimes that happens

Does it? The male is fine so its not water, she wont eat, I guess if she doesnt make it ill just add other cichlids

So my female is eating and moving around more today, she still looks weak, I want to keep her with my male but want to hult them from having babies, can I add a common pleco to eat the eggs? I have a bristel nose in there now, also maybe add some fast fish so he keeps his mind off doing the dirty?
