So here the story
picked up 5 young German Blue Rams Thursday night. Saturday night I noticed spots on them. Was thinking maybe it was the lights reflecting off of them. Sunday those white spots became way more, did some research and discovered it was Ich. Also 1 of my GBRs I found dead in the morning. As I researched how to deal with Ich, I turned my heat from 84 to 86.
ordered Ich X and will get it tomorrow in the mail. Just got home tonigh to another dead GBR.
what’s going on !?!? I did turn water back down to 84, thinking maybe I was adding more stress. I read that GBRs thrive in 84-86 degree water.
Water parameters are great, cycled my tank for 3-4 months.
I did a 50% water change the morning I picked up the fish.
Ammonia - 0
Nitrites - 0
Nitrates - 20-30
PH - 7.6 since day one of cycle process.
please help
