e-cat size?

Does anyone know how big electric cats really get? I've seen and heard many different opinions so i would like to know yours

My 3 yr old was about 8" when it died

I have never kept one and the largest I have seen was in a public aquarium and was about 12" long. According to Dr. Axelrod's Mini-Atlas the Malapterurus electricus can get to be 60cm/approx.24"long

I believe there's 2 species of e-cats, one is much smaller than the other. I think the small one stays around 10" and the large one gets to 2 feet.

I looked them up, the small one gets 2 feet, the big one gets 4 feet. those are wild sizes.

I have kept two species of e-cat in the past (there are actually thought to be about a dozen species and sub-species) .. the common species gets to about 3ft, the largest I have personally kept is 20" and that was less than 2 years old - growth can be quite quick with them.
