hey i posted a little while ago but no response, so i just want some basic information... or just the average size in aquaria, i adopted this fish and its about 9" now and i just wanna know how big i should expect it to be, and maby a min. tank size?

E-cats grow to 3ft in the wild. I've seen captive cats a little over 2ft. But, I've never really kept track of them so I don't know how close to their wild size is reached in captivity. Figure a 150 to 180 for housing one for life (with really good filtration).
wow! thanks oddball, i was thinkin im gonna house it in a pond during the summer and then a large stock tank during the winter, so i guess the main issue i have is PH and temp, im assuming its high 70F low 80's and higher PH. i was wondering if you had any opinions on this? whatabout other tankmates? is it possible to keep these gys with any other cats or bottom dwellers? i have had him with a rapheal cat and it diddnt seem to bug it but i donno about when it gets large. so whacha think? am i crazy
