My three months old electric catfish having a bloated stomach not active at all,Not taking any feeding his just floating restlessly.Im suspecting a dropsy.Is it safe to use epsom salt for catfishes?

Try a small dose and cut back on feeding.

Epsom salts is safe for your electric catfish. Would give 1-3tbsp per 5g. I’d add some maracyn2. Keep the nitrates below 20ppm.

No Rock Salt for bloat pure Epsom Salt without additives.

Depends on the species of catfish. Rock salt is sodium chloride, and there are a lot of catfish that are fine with salt (as a remedy).

As already mentioned you’d want to use pure epsom salt.
