Ok that's enough. I switched out my tank lighting. It's now 50/50 lighting, and the plecos look amazing. That's why all the pics. I'll try to get a pic of the vampire, and a better one of the orange seam later. Enjoy!

very nice tell me how are the queen arabesque's doing in a community tank or are they on there own, reason i ask i had one and found it did best in a ten gallon alone had to target feed in a community and of course my other cats are were pigs..

They are in a tank with rainbows, cory's, a huge tiretrack eel, and a bunch of plecos. As far as feeding goes. I went and bought two stainless steel BBQ skewers. Then I just make a seafood, and veggie shish kabob. The rainbows eat flakes, and munch a little on the seafood, and the tire track I hand feed earthworms, all the plecos just line up at the kabob like a bunch of pigs at a trough. When I turn the lights out they are all on the kabobs. Just because you don't see your pleco eat, doesn't mean it's not eating.

AHA! arabesques! nice to see you saw the light :) the first two pics are the same plec yea? has some nice patterning. the rest are nice, and great additions to an already fantastic collection, but they steal the show lol ;)

you may have found that fishnutham, because they don't tend to compete greatly for food, i have found mine to be slow and i generally target feed close to where they are, as well as feed generously due to all the plecos in there. but yes, i've found i've had to try and keep an eye on them and their weight which is hard to do when they never seem to come out!

o and steve, your lucky to have a wife like that lol

That is one Hell of a collection!:headbang2 I love the leopard frogs, but never see them around here.:irked: Again, wonderful!

Thanks, I'm aware how lucky I am. Not many wives do things like that for their husbands. When I feed them I use 4-8" skewers packed full of veggies. Then I dispurse them evenly across the tank. I'll take a couple pictures tonight, to show the frenzy, and how I space them apart.

Thanks for all the comments. I feel I'm getting alow better with my new camera, now that I've got the hang of all the settings.
