I plan on getting a 72 x 18 x18 tank (100 gallon aprox.) for my eartheaters 4 x green horseface, 1 x red horseface, 3 x threadfin acara, 3 x orange heads and 3 bristlenoses and maybe a group of tetras. Filtration 2 x eheim 2217.

Does this setup sound over crowded/ok? Thanks for your advice.

Sounds a bit heavily stocked for a 100g... but it is long, and heavily filtered... so it might be ok.

Yes overstocked. The term "horseface" is generally used for geos from the altifrons complex (altifrons, abalios, dicrozoster etc..) and can/will reach 10". For a tank that size (a 125g footprint) I would stick to the orange heads/BN plecos. I keep a school of orange heads in a 125 and am happy with it since they stay in 6" range as adults. Maybe 5-6 indeviduals. If you don't take this advice at least don't keep the "threadfin acara" (Acarichthys Heckelii), they need a much larger tank and be pretty hard on one another in small numbers.

Mixing small numbers of different species is going to result in torn up fins/missing filaments.. Trust me. ;)
