I got 3 large males that came out of a species only tank / was a breeding tank , I have a 72x24x26 LxWxH , I have a mix African tank , 72hrs into establishing them in there new home they had no interest in eating NLS 2mm , the previus owner fed them pellets + flake , The fronts are 4 yr old , so I decided to see if I could (Break the seal) and get them to eat something/anything just to make them feel at home .... I dug up some fat earth worms in my yard and feed the tank OMG the fronts ate like they were starving to death (Witch they are not not yet anyhow) I hope this was a inspiration to them and a encouragement that is is ok to eat in there new home .

I find that if fish are reluctant to eat, I mix some garlic crumb pellets in with some of the other food, and that usually does the trick.
Bloodworm also mixed in sometimes does the trick

Give them time and they will take the NLS. They can go weeks without eating. Be patient and do not make a habit out of feeding earthworms
