Very nice tank! t seems to be quite tall, I would be tempted to add some Mesonauta!

Wow, I love that wood hardscape! What are the fern-like leaves in there?
The wood hard scape are custom made. The fern like leaves that you mentioned are a type of palm called areca catechu. Those are very popular and are collected in my garden

interesting. What are the tank dimensons? I've never had luck mixing any of the 'steindacheri-ish' geos with other geos., but I've never tried anything bigger than 72x18x22.

It is only 62 inches long but i have 30inches depth and hight. So far no agression

Never heard of geophagus ellioti. And do you mean gymnogeophagus balzanii? They have different water temp requirements than some of the others.

No gymnogeophagus here. It looks kinda like a firemouth shape. Its still a juvie. It was sold to me as a “geophagus” but im nt quite sure
