so there was this eartheater it came in with the geo sur. but this one looked like a satanperca or of that kinda mouth it had no pearls and in the corner of its mouth are 2 orange dots that is wat i hope will be a major part in id

Similar to this fish? It's a red-hump eartheater, Geophagus steindachneri. Males have an orange spot on each side of the mouth whereas females do not.

Yeah, the pearls develop as they get older, plus this one was courting a female so its colors were quite vibrant. The flash on the camera makes them more vivid as well. I noted going through my photos that females have the orange spots as well, but they are much less pronounced. Females are quite bland otherwise.
