I have changed my plans for my 24x24x24 inch 60 gallon cube. It was originally going to be a high tech planted tank, but with the way things are going right now, I don't have the time to maintain it the way it needs to be. I have decided to switch over to a low light tank, and focus on a single species. Including plants is optional, because I know they will probably get uprooted.
I know that the 24x24 footprint is not optimal for most cichlids other than dwarves; however, I am wondering if there is a species of eartheater that would do well as a pair or small group in my tank. I was thinking along the lines of Red Head Tapajos, but I have absolutely no experience with them, so I'm not sure. If anyone would like to give me some input and advice, I would really appreciate it.
I have a school of 7 sterbai cories in the tank right now, so I would like to keep them in there if at all possible.
Thanks,
Katie
