Heres some new shots of my 2 Geophagus proximus, (soon to be 4).

Sweet bargain!!!! Those are going to look really nice when they mature.
 
I hate to say it but those don't look like proximus. They look more like sp. "Red Head Tapajos" or sp. "Orange Head Araguaia".

Proximus have a MUCH larger body spot.
 
Can't tell you which exact Geo species they are, but I can suggest getting them some sand substrate ;) They love it SOOO much more, and can actually "eartheat" and sift it through their gills like they're supposed to do. Be careful not to use silica sand though...the particles are too small and sharp and can cause internal damage to their gills. Playsand or something with a similar grain is better.
 
I use pool filter sand from Home Depot...works wonders!!! :D They are looking awesome bro!! I'm guessing they are cheap too, so get as many as you can!! ha
