I live in Eagle River, Alaska and have 8 tanks including a 150 pool pond. It was a 7.0 magnitude was damaged many roads and buildings. I was at my high school when it hit and was unable to get home for 30-60 minutes. I came home to standing water in the hallway and my room, my thirty gallon tank was empty. At first we thought it had plashed out as it was on a free standing dresser but then realized the back of the tank was smashed. There was about an inch of water left in the tank and about half of the fish were still inside. Several barbs died on the for and about five corys are still alive that were also on the floor. 12 hours later I moved the dresser to find 2 more corys who were still alive and both were alive, but barely. We also lost power for several hours. All the surviving fish are doing well along with all my other tanks.

Wow, sorry to hear that BuBBles420, but on the bright side sounds like it could have been worse.

Celebrist glad you weren't affected -- I grew up in Kenai :)

Wow...glad most of the fish and other tanks survived. I’m in Cali and often worry what would happen if we had an earthquake. Hope the rest of the fish make it
