Very true statement, I’m having a hard time getting mine to eat pellets. They chew on them but don’t commit. I do feed shrimp also but I found the night crawlers to be easier so I was wondering if I just stuck to them. I’ll keep mixing the shrimp and wormsFeeding rays is a chore. Due to the fact that they need a variety of vitamins to stay happy, healthy, and to promote longer life. As pups I feed predominantly nightcrawlers. As they grow the worms become an occasional treat. The majority of their diet becomes shrimp, tilapia, scallops, mussels, and squid. Also very heavy on your pocket. Pellets can be used as part of their diet also, but are a lot messier for your filtration. I recommend constant variety.
That's how I do it. Chop the shrimp n tilapia up really small and mix it w the chopped up crawlers. Sometimes they take to it fast, sometimes it takes months.Very true statement, I’m having a hard time getting mine to eat pellets. They chew on them but don’t commit.
