So its a consensus fish love earthworms. Has anyone ever tried to just have a bunch? Throw a bunch in a barrel full of sand, I read up online and they reproduce pretty quickly from what I can tell and dont need much. If you put them in a 5 gallon pail or something outside where they can get rain water and maybe plant some flowers or something in there I guess thats all the need. They are certainly not expensive, but it would be interesting to try...

Anyone every done this?

DIY forum on worm farms, I built one after Chompers had a post about them

there is a bit more to it than this

try the diy section
or google for worm bin
i have one which is mainly for the jar every time he goes on a hunger strike the earthworms work like a charm

fish and earthworms are like kids and candy. so i do raise them to ease a few $ each week off feeding other foods, since worms so readily breed

i love watching little fish try to take a big worm. especially my ghost knife, who will go backwards around the tank with 1/2 a worm sticking from his mouth
