Ok, my 8 year old is getting his 45 corner tank set up soon (his big sister gets his 29) and he wants to create a hybrid. What two "random fish" (as he puts it) would ensure him the best chances at reaching his goal. I figure convict x anything, but want to here if there is anything out there that would be slam dunk for my guy.

I know Con x HRPs are common and they are very attractive. Blood parrot will hybridizing with other cichlids easily. So because con and BP will breed with anything so your best bet would be Con x BP or HRP x BP or Con x HRP.
i figure if you put in four various african kenyi or mbuna they will cross
