what is the easiet kind of placo to care for in a 20 g tank

Stick to a bristlenose for now. They stay relatively small and could happily live in your 20. Buying a fish for a tank you don't have yet is never a good idea.

I would also recommend rubberlip pleco.. if ur in the US and close to a petsmart.. they sell them..

Rubber Plecos are 4.50 at PetSmart. They only get about 6 to 7 inches long.

For a 20GAL I personally like bristlenose plecos or rubber plecos. Both species stay small and their constant rasping keeps glass and rock work clean from algae build up.
