ok friday i'll be taking out 6 of my fish and wanted to know what the easiest way to trasnport em to my local fish store. i was thinking about using a cooler or a small buucket.

any ideas are welcome thanks :D

i think coolers or a bucket would be the best or you can bag them if small enough

aight. ima try and mix water from the tank and treated tap water cause my cooler is big! lol

You wanna use just water from your tank...do a big water change...like 40-50%. Put a pump w/ airstone in the cooler. That will work for long drives....if it's close you dont NEED the pump and stone...but it cant hurt.

This.

Cooler is better than a bucket for temp control, and I'd suggest always using an airstone - even on short trips.

How far are you going? If it's a long way, fast your fish a day or two prior to the move.

How big are these fish. and how far do you have to go. That's the major question

thanks.

If you're only a mile away it doesn't matter how you box them. they won't need an air supply b/c you're not going far enough. Just grab a rubbermiad box fill it part way with tank water and add fish. And off you go.
