I am wondering if anyone knows a good place for fish in East Providence, RI?

My sister lives out there and after seeing my tank this weekend she wants one herself. :headbang2She doesnt want anything special, but she does not know much about fish at all so I am looking for a place that will treat her good and help her out...

Suggestions???

you can walk accross the state in an afternoon, wouldnt a LFS in the state qualify as local?

Haha true, but if its 20 minutes its "wayyyy to far" haha

Anyone know about Rumford Pets? I guess thats close to her...

ya i live in fall river, ma and i go to rumford's all the time. the downside with rumfords is there fish tend to be expensive, but accessories tend to be cheap in price. They have a good selection of fish and alot of people who know what there talking about from pirahanas, alligator gar, peacock bass, arowana and etc, but they will cost a little more than you can pay at most pet shops. I would tell her to take a trip down to fall river its like 25 mins away and go to animal instincts they have a better selection of fish and if they don't have they will get it for you as long as u know the scientific name of it. And there prices are better for fish, but they are more expensive on accessories. For example you can get 2inch mon peacok bass for $25 at Rumfords or you can get the same thin at animal instincts for $10.
Also if she goes to fall river tell her to stay away from the fish bowl. They get the best variety of fish, but every time i bought a fish there it wouldn't eat no matter what i did and eventually starverd to death, and the others were so usually very stessed out and died with in a week. I have bought about 6 fish from there and my friend has bought 3 and none of them lasted more than 3 weeks for us and i constantly have my water tested so i know levels are fine.
