Hi guys,
I'm unsure if any of you would know anything about this but a friend of mine wants to get rid of her Eastern Longneck Turtle and I was entertaining the idea of taking it off her hands.
Its shell is around 15cm and I would suspect it is about 4 years old. I was thinking of putting it in a 3ft (not sure how tall or wide but pretty standard) tank with my current fish. The current fish in this tank are;
1x Blistlenose Plec (about 15cm)
2x Purple Spot Gudgeons (10cm ish)
2x Emporer Gudgeons (5cm ish)
2x Haplo Cats (10-15cm)
1x Red Jewel Cichlid (4-5cm) - (he is brand new and hasn't formed territory yet)
3x Various Rainbows (8-9cm)
1x Steatocranus Tinanti (10cm ish)
Can you see any issues that would effect either the fish or the turtle? My biggeest concern I guess is the Plec as I think he'll probably be too slow and might become food can anyone confirm or deny this?
P.S. yes I'm aware this has become overstocked I may get rid of a couple of fish to house the turtle. Let me know your thoughts guys
THANK YOU!
