I want to try and plant my empty 75g. What plants are the easiest to maintain? Please include both floating and rooted plants.
 
by easy im guessing youll want to do low light. plants include bolbitus, mosses, java fern, anubis, hornworth, cryptocoryne, and theres more but i cant think this early in the morning

exactly. low light and something that won't gunk up my filters. thanks.
 
frog bit is cool , duck weed is ok but remember its a challenge to get ride of
 
Floating plants and rooted plants are not a good mix. Bolbitis is also a bad choice as it does very poorly under low lighting. Java ferns, java moss, anubias, cryptocorynes, hornwort, elodea, water sprite, wisteria, and some echinodorus species will all do well.
 
Java ferns and anubias are my favorite low light plants. Practically indestructable. lol. They are pretty clean as - they would not likely clog up your filter or anything. You just have to be diligent about getting rid of dead leaves, etc - if any.
