how much can an albino senegal eat in relation to its own weight? bc i was feeding my aro worms n one fell on the ground n my my poly got to it, im thinkin it cant possibly eat this big worm, but this poly ate this worm like a snake eating, im not jokin my poly took bout 2-3 min snaking this worm down, inching its mouth to swallow this worm. worm was almost as long as the poly

When babies, bichirs eat their siblings the same size and weight that they are.


I never weigh my bichirs so I can't really tell you what you're looking for, but I do know that my congicus will eat big chunks of beefheart and tilapia.

They can really more than you expect them to be as they are bottom dwelling fish. They can probably eat about 75%+ of their own body weight.
