Eb jack Dempsey

Hey I have bred 2 blue jene jack dempseys the fry are about 2 weeks old I know only 25% might be electric blue could yous tell me how to tell them apart so I can remove them before they get killed thanks

Im no exspert but im pretty sure breeding two blue gene dempsey make blue gene dempsey not ebjd's

blue gene x blue gene produces 25% EBJD, 50% blue gene and 25% wild type. You cannot tell the latter two groups apart. I am not sure how soon the blue shows but assume fairly quick.

I WOULD wait till about 3-4 weeks then you can tell the ebjd are whitish looking

blue gene look like normal reg jack.
