Got him about 1 more ago. For the first week he wasn't really eating. After that week he would eat but only blood worms. Nothing else. At least he was eating something. So I fed him only blood worms for the next 2 weeks. Now all of a sudden he stopped eating. So far it's been 4 days and nothing. I had him in my 120 gallon with 1 midas, 1 jack dempsey, 1 Bala shark, 1 rainbow shark clown loach and 3 Diamond scale tinfoil barbs. The ebjd was the king of the tank. All of the fish are only 1-2in. A day or 2 after he stopped eating I noticed the baby midas and ebjd lip locking. I immediately took the ebjd out and put him in my 10 gallon to separate the 2. He's been in my 10 gallon for 2 days by himself now and no eating. I threw some blood worms in there along with some nls flakes and nls algae wafers which my other cichlids love to eat. Nothing. I am after of leaving the food in there and contaminating the water. So I not throw anymore food in there. Kind of stumped on why he just stopped eating. Before I put him the 10 gallon the day before I did a 50% water change on the 10 gallon. Any suggestions on what I can do. This is my 2nd ebjd that I am trying to raise. The first one didn't last a week. So this is the longest I have had a ebjd survive. Here's a pic of the midas and ebjd lip locking. Thanks
